Hi there,
Welcome to the rolling blog of Remaining Mark, where you will find short iterations of what’s going on in the background. These pieces aim to support my larger stories and the podcast itself, filling you in along the way.
As I have been working on this project for a little while now, the first few posts will be back-dated from December. But will still give you good insight into how an idea develops into something tangible and share worthy.
Once I have the ball rolling nicely, I intend to sprinkle in a few more of these posts to inform and I suppose, educate, my readers a bit more about my journey. When it comes to new hobbies, there is always a big learning curve. ‘Suppose I’m fortunate enough to have content creation as my full time job too, so whatever I learn on the job, I reflect back into my own writing and recording.
I’m still figuring out what should be shown where, and whether the cover art below should be only on the podcast or displayed atop the publication. But either way, as this is my opening post, I’ll show you the cover art that will be the face of my publication and podcast, home to my stories.
Combining a quill and a microphone signifies a collection of stories both written and spoken, set at the foot of a yellow door with much left to the unknown. Remaining Mark is a lovely play on words that speaks to the mark left from trauma, and remaining myself, Mark, in spite of these past events.
I look forward to posting and unveiling my work in progress.
Have a flip through, if you like what you see and would like to be part of my journey, feel free to follow or subscribe.
See you in the next one!
~M.
